Spirit Halloween

Back From The Dead

Spirit Halloween’s entire existence is based on haunting the homes of Stores Past. But this year, they’re being possessed themselves. Thanks to in-store pop-ups, your favorite buried stores - Blockbuster and Toys R Us - are Back From the Dead.

Scary Good Scary Good

Blockbuster is exclusively carrying horror movies. We’re also introducing a line of niche costumes inspired by people’s favorite scary flicks

Toys R Us is introducing a line of spooky versions of classic toys.

Our ads are inspired by horror movies and Goosebumps, and they’re haunting major cities.

The Launch

Headstones are popping up all over Los Angeles. There’s a date, time, and location on the headstone inviting people to a spooky soiree on September 30th to ring in the season.

Spirit Cemetery

The invites will lead people to the Spirit Cemetery, a plot near the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in LA that we’ve taken over to honor the most important parts of our culture.

Remembering the Past

Spirit Cemetery is full of headstones honoring stores, toys, and other beloved parts of culture that have passed on.

Going Social

Blockbuster and Toys R Us’ social accounts have also reanimated.

Shot-for-Shot

In honor of Blockbuster’s return, we’re running a TikTok contest. Create the best shot-for-shot parodies of horror movies using supplies around your house.
